We have a dream…. to connect the world through a network of worldwide spontaneous events based on house music and positivity. Feel The Dream is that idea made flesh. Now we’re all doing our bit in making Martin Luther King’s dream come true!

The 45th anniversary of Martin Luther King’s ‘I Have a Dream’ speech is coming up on Thursday 28th August 2008. This, twinned with the 20th anniversary of ‘The Second Summer of Love’, makes for the perfect day, let’s find the perfect way to make it happen!

The core crew has been put in place and from there the crème de la crème of the word’s music-making mavericks, hipsters, social networkers, geeks and crack creative contributors.

We pulled out all the stops and within days a cool online network was up and running and Feel The Dream was born. Within weeks, we intend to make the dream come true!

So now the network is expanding by the minute, including anyone and everyone who wants to get on board and celebrate the gift of freedom.

Isn’t it funny what you can do when you put your mind to it?

Freedom is a gift, so easily taken for granted, something which for many remains only a distant, longed for dream. It is for this reason that we wish to use this event to promote the work of Amnesty International locally and globally. Amnesty consistently stand up for those for those denied this gift and human right, often under brutal and inhumane conditions.

This is a call for the freest amongst us to put our hands up, stand up, celebrate, and in the process stand by all those not fortunate enough to enjoy this precious gift which we so easily take for granted.
